1. LexisNexis Academic provides access to thousands of news sources, as well as links to business and legal information. To get to LexisNexis Academic from the Knowledge Center homepage, click on the RESEARCH tab.
2. Then choose Databases A-Z List.
3. Choose LexisNexis Academic from the list of databases. Enter your search terms in the search box. Click on the appropriate boxes below to indicate the location and date range of your search. Click on Search to retrieve items.
4. In your list of results, click on a category on the left to further narrow your list of articles. You can also enter narrowing terms in the box at the top right to bring back fewer articles. To change the appearance of your results, click on the drop-down arrows next to Show and Sort. Choose Expanded List to see how the keywords are used in the article, and choose Publication Date to sort by date rather than Relevance.
5. Click on a title to open the full article. All citations lead to full text, but the articles do not include photos or illustrations. You can Print, Save, or Email the article by clicking on one of the icons in the upper right.
6. From the LexisNexis homepage, you can also do more detailed searches of information regarding News, Legal, Business, and People by clicking on the appropriate tab.
