Getchell Library officially begins its move to the new Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008. During the move, a portion
of Getchell Library will remain open to provide ongoing library and computing services.

What is the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center?

The Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center will be one of the most technologically advanced libraries in the country. Computing and information technologies and support will be combined with the latest in multimedia tools and the resources of the university library in a physical environment designed for comfort, efficiency, and collaboration.
